Teen Trip ages: 13-19
Known as the land “down under," Australia is home to kangaroos, koalas, and kookaburras, all of which can be seen on the Teen Missions Australia property. This country is in need of the true Gospel message, much like the United States! In what ways might God be wanting to use you in Australia this summer?
Ministry: Your team will have a variety of projects to help with such as updating the Obstacle Course, painting the chapel, and finishing tasks on new staff housing. You will also be able to participate in outreach ministries in local schools, as well as assisting with street meetings dedicated to sharing the Gospel with the people in Australia. Use the tools you will learn at Boot Camp to effectively share Christ and serve those you come into contact with!
Travel: After Commissioning, you will bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight across the southern United States to Los Angeles, to begin your journey halfway across the world. You will cross the Pacific Ocean and the International Dateline before arriving in Brisbane. From the airport it is a two hour drive to Teen Missions in Australia in Tewantin.
Adventure: On a visit to Noosa Head on the “Sunshine Coast” of Queensland you will swim in the Pacific Ocean and shop for souvenirs in stores along Hastings Street. Any animals you do not see on the property, you may see at the Australia Zoo.
