Teen (ages 13-19)
June 12 to August 6, 2021
Going where the people are, this unique team will combine practical care with a powerful proclamation of the Gospel to share Christ in the remote villages of Zambia’s around Lake Mweru.
Travel: Following training at the Lord’s Boot Camp, a bus will take you to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to Washington DC. Following a layover, you board a flight to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and then board a connecting flight to Ndola, Zambia. It is a short bus ride to the Teen Missions in Zambia Bible, Missionary & Work Training Center from the airport.
Ministry: Your team will assist with ongoing construction of a dormitory building and classrooms at one of TMI Zambia’s newest remote base locations in Wangabisha. The team will have many opportunities to engage local children and adults in sharing the Gospel using Bible story telling, circle games, drama, music and one-on-one sharing.
Adventure: Before leaving Zambia, a trip is planned to Victoria Falls, discovered by David Livingstone in 1855 and one of the Seven Natural Wonders Of The World. Your team will enjoy a river safari cruise on the Zambezi River, which is the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. While there you may see elephants, hippos and other wildlife. Take home souvenirs such as wood and stone carvings, traditional African clothing, and various kinds of jewelry.
