Craig Butler

I will be serving at the Teen Missions base in Jinja, Uganda, working alongside my son Liam, who is currently serving there as a missionary intern.

Uganda is a vibrant and beautiful nation, yet many communities face challenges such as poverty, limited access to education, and preventable illness. Teen Missions seeks to meet these needs by training and sending youth teams across the country to share the Gospel, serve local communities, and complete work projects. The base also includes a Bible school that equips students through intensive Biblical teaching paired with hands-on ministry experience. In addition, Teen Missions operates Rescue Units in surrounding villages to care for some of the most vulnerable. These units provide basic medical care, food assistance, clean water resources, hygiene training, and spiritual support to orphans and at-risk children—many of whom have lost parents due to disease or hardship.

During my time in Uganda, I will be helping support these ministries, encouraging local leaders, and participating in outreach that meets practical needs while sharing the hope of Christ.
