Guatemala is a vibrant country in Central America known for its Mayan heritage, landscapes, and charm. It features lush rainforests, towering volcanoes, and the breathtaking Lake Atitlán, surrounded by traditional villages. Guatemala’s culture is a colorful blend of indigenous traditions and Spanish influence, which can be seen in cities like Antigua.
While Christianity is widespread, many people blend Biblical beliefs with traditional Mayan practices, creating a deep need for clear, gospel-centered teaching. There is also a strong hunger among the youth and rural communities for the Gospel, hope, and discipleship in the face of poverty and brokenness.
