Guatemala is a vibrant country in Central America known for its Mayan heritage, landscapes, and charm. It features lush rainforests, towering volcanoes, and the breathtaking Lake Atitlán, surrounded by traditional villages.

Ministry:

Your team will serve with Send Me Ministries on their property in Joyabaj, Guatemala. Your main project will be constructing a 200-meter-long stone wall, creating a safe area for children to play and improving security on the property. Additional construction projects on buildings may also need assistance, and there will be opportunities to participate in Send Me’s medical ministry.

Alongside these projects, your team can share the love of Christ with local adults, teens, and children through music, puppets, and dramas—bringing hope and joy to the community.

Explore:

After completing Boot Camp, your team will bus to Orlando International Airport for a flight to Guatemala City, Guatemala via Miami, Florida. After landing in Guatemala City, you will take a four-hour bus ride to your project site in Joyabaj.

At the end of your time in Guatemala, your team will have the opportunity to explore the ancient Mayan ruins and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Antigua. You’ll enjoy sightseeing through historic streets and have time to shop for unique souvenirs to remember your journey.
