Meet Your Head Leaders:
Dorah Yoder’s relationship with Jesus Christ is central to her life, and she has been walking with Him since giving her life to Christ in 1998. Born and raised in Zambia, Africa, Dorah completed her schooling there before joining Teen Missions after graduating from high school. She went on her first Teen Missions team soon after and later attended the Bible Missionary and Work Training Center. Dorah joined Teen Missions staff in 2004 and has since served on 19 or more teams. She is passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission and is grateful to be part of seeing teens step out in obedience to God’s call.
Robert Yoder continues to grow in his walk with the Lord and has served on Teen Missions staff since 2007, following two years of volunteer service in Zambia. As a teen, he served on teams to Nepal in 1996 and Timbuktu in 1997. From 2005 to 2023, Robert and Dorah led numerous Zambian teams and assisted with various American teams, and in 2025 they had the privilege of leading their first U.S. Teen Missions team to Tanzania. They have three children—Esther, Ethan, and Elisha—and love serving together as a family. Dorah enjoys cooking, baking, singing to the Lord, and encouraging others, while Robert enjoys learning about new cultures, driving, and investing in the lives of teens as he watches God work and transform them for His Kingdom.
