Ministry Focus: Children’s Ministry, Evangelism, Cross-Cultural Ministry
Region: South America
Dates: June 16 - August 7
Cost: Pending...

Paraguay is a landlocked country in the heart of South America, known for its subtropical landscapes, vast rivers, and strong agricultural traditions. Its culture blends indigenous Guaraní heritage with Spanish colonial influence, and both Spanish and Guaraní are official languages. Life in Paraguay moves at a slower pace compared to its neighbors, with close-knit communities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the country’s traditions.

Spiritually, Paraguay is predominantly Catholic, but many people hold to a blend of Catholic practices and indigenous beliefs. While evangelical churches are present and slowly growing, there is still limited access to sound biblical teaching in many rural areas. Discipleship and leadership development are ongoing needs, as many believers have little opportunity for structured spiritual growth.

*Please note: Team projects and destinations for 2026 are currently in preliminary planning and may be subject to change.
