Its culture blends indigenous Guaraní heritage with Spanish colonial influence, and both Spanish and Guaraní are official languages. Life in Paraguay moves at a slower pace compared to its neighbors, with close-knit communities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the country’s traditions.

Your team will help begin construction on the new Teen Missions property in Paraguay, working on building projects such as a kitchen, latrines, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to lay the foundation for a property that will serve the ministry for years to come.

In addition to the construction work, your team will have opportunities to participate in children’s ministry and community outreach, sharing the love of Christ with those around you.

After completing Boot Camp, your team will bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to Asuncion, Paraguay via Panama City, Panama. Upon arrival, your team will travel approximately five hours to your project site in Eastern Paraguay.

At the end of your project, your team will have the chance to explore Asuncion, taking in the city’s sights and shopping for unique souvenirs to remember your time in Paraguay.

Meet Your Head Leaders:

Joel gave his life to Christ in 2010 and continues to grow daily in his walk with the Lord. He has led three Teen Missions teams and brings 15 years of experience in professional lawn care and landscape maintenance. Joel is passionate about mentoring and teaching others and enjoys good food and all kinds of board sports.

Emma began following Jesus wholeheartedly ten years ago and has grown through His strength each day. After high school, she attended Sojourner School of Ministry, completing a three-year program with an emphasis in missions and theology. She has served on nine Teen Missions teams as both a team member and leader. Emma loves leading teams and investing in the next generation for Christ. In her free time, she enjoys being active and the outdoors, paddleboarding, running, hiking, or surfing whenever she can.
