Jason & Cordelia Stoddart

After meeting on their first Teen Missions Australia team to Madagascar in 2013, both Jason and Cordelia sensed the Lord directing their steps towards attending the two year BMW program that was being run at the time, even though both had been pursuing very different careers prior to the summer of 2013 (Jason studying Exercise and Movement Science at Uni and Cordelia pursuing a full-time career in dance). 

The BMW program was a season of exponential growth both spiritually and practically and a decision both to this day remain very grateful for, even amidst the challenges experienced. That program changed their lives and fanned a flame for missions (something that had always been there for both Jason and Cordelia from a young age, but had been forgotten about for some time).  After Jason and Cordelia had completed the two year course through Teen Missions Australia, they knew the Lord had brought them together and were married 6 months later. While the desire to serve in a missions context full time was still very close to their heart, the next season of their lives (5 years) were spent in Toowoomba, where they started a family and Jason completed his electrical trade. In 2021, the Lord pressed upon their hearts a clear direction to return to Teen Missions Australia and join staff, a call that became too clear to ignore. After much prayer, wrestling with the Lord, & seeking wise counsel, the Stoddart family (consisting of two young boys and another on the way) moved to the Sunshine Coast, arriving just as the state was going back into lockdown and a majority of Boot Camp had Covid. A year later, Jason and Cordelia became the Coordinators of Teen Missions Australia. A role that continues to challenge them, humble them, and keep them tethered to God in all things. 

The Stoddart family consider it a privilege to be in this role and be a part of a much larger Teen Missions family; brothers and sisters all across the globe with a passion for instilling in the younger generation a missionary vision. They are grateful to work, live, play, and homeschool in such a beautiful part of the world - we might be biased but we think the Teen Missions property here in Australia is pretty special.
