Jorge Valldeperas
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Jorge came to Florida with his family at the age of 18, and immediately encountered things that made life in the United States different from what he’d known before. One thing was people sharing their faith in Jesus Christ with him. Although pride and self reliance created resistance to the Gospel for years, Jorge finally understood at the age of 29, his need for a Savior. Later, after experiencing several mission trips, a call to serve full-time began to form. Jorge and his wife Allie served as Teen Missions staff from 2010 to 2014, and at the Oneida Baptist Institute in Kentucky from 2014 to 2022. After returning to Florida, Allie was asked to join Teen Missions again as the Food Services Manager, and Jorge began volunteering in the kitchen whenever his job allowed. However, feeling that God wants both Allie and Jorge to serve together again, Jorge recently retired from his full-time job and began the process to develop donors and prayer partners in order to serve full-time with Teen Missions.
