Rachel Propes

Rachel grew up in Oregon. She attended college at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington where she studied User Experience Design. While there she also had the opportunity to be involved in the university’s missions program. She served on several overseas missions trips and volunteered in local ministry. Through these experiences she developed a passion for missions and an understanding of God’s heart for people and for the nations. 

She first connected with Teen Missions International while serving at their base in Honduras in 2024. In 2025, she led a team with her university to the Philippines. While preparing for this trip, she felt God calling her to full-time ministry. Later that summer she volunteered with Teen Missions during their summer Boot Camp training program. She began to seek the Lord’s direction on where she would serve after college and felt led to Teen Missions. 

Rachel is planning to join staff with Teen Missions International in the fall. She will help lead summer mission teams, investing in the lives of high school students as they grow in their faith and step out to serve around the world. Throughout the year, she will serve at the base in Merritt Island, Florida supporting various ministry needs, including contributing her skills to the IT and Graphics Departments. 

She is passionate about hearing people’s stories and seeing lives transformed through the Gospel. Rachel is excited to be part of equipping the next generation and to make an eternal impact through fulfilling the Great Commission.
