Rebekah Wilder

Rebekah started her journey with Teen Missions back in 2024 on the Spring Break Team to Space Coast, Florida. As a senior in high school she had no idea the impact that it would have on her life and future. In spending a week with the staff at Teen Missions and students at Sojourner School of Ministry, Rebekah fell in love with the community and heart of service that they had for the Lord.

Growing up with her father in the military, Rebekah was used to traveling and moving around. Despite the hardships that it brought, God used it all for good and for His glory. When she was 14, her family moved to Jacksonville, FL where Rebekah would start and complete her high school career and join a church that changed her life. There at that church, God stirred in her heart a desire to serve in Next Gen Ministry and to go on a mission trip to Anchorage, Alaska. It was on that mission trip in 2022 that she knew that this was the calling God had put on her life. 

With a heart that beat for both youth discipleship and mission work overseas, Teen Missions became a very clear next step as Rebekah was graduating from high school. She signed up to go on a team to Colombia, South America that same summer and started as a student at Sojourner School of Ministry later in the fall. She is now completing her second year of academic studies and was a leader on a summer team to Romania in 2025. Now, as she completes the program, she is looking forward to more summer teams and her overseas internship that is to come! 

In the fall of 2026, Rebekah and a couple other students are projected to serve in the country of Australia working on the Teen Missions base there. In her own words, “I am so blessed. In thinking about all that the Lord has done, I can’t wait to see all that He will do. God has a heart for the nations, He has a heart for Australia and I can’t wait to share that with Him!”
