Amanda Evans Newsletters (Fall 2026)

Hey everyone! Another summer in the books! It was a great summer even if I did not go on a team. I stayed back on the Launch team; the team that stays back to keep up the yard and office work and then get ready for debrief the time when the teams come back. We cleaned up from boot camp, mowed the grass, cleaned rooms and office work. After the summer I was able to volunteer with Samaritan's purse in North Carolina for a week on a rebuild trip. This was the area that got damaged by the huge flooding. I helped with putting the siding on a house and built a retainer wall and then started painting the house. We had a week of talking about the summer and fellowship. The first 2 days we talked about the summer; how good it went and what could be done better. And then on Wednesday we drove to a retreat center: where we fellowshipped; playing games, swimming, taking naps and having a great couple of messages. Right now, we are back to work getting ready to start sending out packets to the kids that have registered for 2027. The finance office has been very busy with getting all the receipts in. I would like to say thank you so much for the prayers and financially!! I would like to put a request that I’m barely at the minimum of where I’m supposed to be. I’m not worried because God has it in His hands!! But if you would like to help; there is a coupon attached or a QR code that you can use.

Prayer requests: Dig deeper in the Word I love volunteering anywhere I can but I’m learning that I need to take time to relax (to actually go on vacation) Finances to grow

So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:6
