Butler (Fall 2025)

Dear Friends and Supporters,

As we look back over this summer, our hearts are filled with gratitude and awe. It has been a season of hard work, powerful ministry, and clear evidence of God’s hand at work around the world!

The Lord’s Boot Camp – Preparing for the Harvest

Our summer began at The Lord’s Boot Camp, where nearly 300 teens and leaders gathered for intensive training before heading to the mission field.

During these two weeks, the teams learned to trust the Lord, work in unity, and serve selflessly. We were blessed to play a part in this training:

  • Craig taught personal evangelism classes, equipping teens to share their faith confidently.

  • Sharon led classes on reaching children through puppet ministry.

  • Liam trained teams with construction projects, teaching them to mix and pour concrete—skills they would soon put into practice on the field.

Germany – Painting and Outreach

From Boot Camp, we traveled to Germany, to a region marked by deep spiritual need. Once oppressed by both the Nazi and Soviet regimes, this area is now considered one of the most atheistic in the world. But God is moving, raising up a new generation of German believers to shine His light in the darkness!

We served at Siloah Familienkommunität, a Christian campground dedicated to sharing the hope of salvation. During our time there, our team painted one of the camp’s key buildings, prepared the grounds for upcoming outreaches, and ministered to the children who attended the camp. It was a privilege to come alongside this ministry and witness how God is using them to bring restoration and hope to a region in desperate need of His love.

Tanzania – Bringing Vision and Security

While we were in Germany, Nora traveled to Tanzania, where she and her team held eyeglass clinics in surrounding communities. Through these clinics, they were able to provide the gift of physical sight while also sharing spiritual light. Each person who received a pair of glasses also had the opportunity to hear the Gospel and be prayed for, making these clinics a beautiful blend of practical care and eternal impact.

In addition to the clinics, Nora’s team worked at the Teen Missions Jipe base, where they built a much-needed security fence and constructed a new road. These vital projects will make the base safer and more accessible, opening the door for even greater ministry in the future.

Uganda – Healing and Hope

Liam served as an assistant leader with the Uganda team. Together, they traveled to rural villages to conduct medical clinics, bringing essential care to communities with little access to healthcare. The clinics were life-changing both physically and spiritually. The team was able to demonstrate the compassion of Jesus, praying with patients and sharing the hope of the Gospel. It was an incredible opportunity to bring both healing and hope to people who are often forgotten.

A Summer of Life Change

Across every team and project, God was faithful. We saw lives touched, hearts stirred, and seeds planted—not only in those we ministered to, but also within the hearts of our own team members.

When we returned home, we had just two weeks to catch our breath before heading out on deputation. During that time, we spoke at multiple churches, reconnecting with faithful supporters and friends and sharing stories of how God moved this summer. Sharon also had the privilege of speaking at a women’s Bible study, encouraging others to live with purpose and mission. These gatherings reminded us once again of the incredible community of believers who faithfully stand with us in prayer, encouragement, and giving.

Looking Ahead

This fall marks a new chapter for Liam, who recently graduated from the Sojourner School of Ministry. Over the next ten months, he will travel to Malawi, Uganda, and Tanzania as part of his missions internship, ministering to children in remote areas through Teen Missions Rescue Units. When his internship is complete, Liam plans to return and serve alongside us as a team leader.

As for our next steps, we are excited to be leading a spring break team to New York and a summer team to New Zealand, with Liam joining us in leadership. In addition, we will continue teaching ministry classes, training young missionaries to serve effectively on the field.

As we reflect on this past summer, we are reminded that missions is not only about going—it’s about obeying, serving, and trusting God with the results. Time and again, we’ve seen Him do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.”

We are humbled and deeply grateful for your partnership in the Great Commission. Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity make this work possible. If the Lord lays it on your heart to partner with us financially, please know that your support will help us continue bringing the hope of Christ to those who have never heard the Good News.

Thank you for standing with us and investing in what God is doing through Teen Missions. Together, we are declaring His glory among the nations!

To God be the glory,
The Butlers
