Craig & Sharon Butler (Winter 2025)

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Greetings in the name of our Lord! We hope this newsletter finds you well and filled with His peace.

As we continue mobilizing the next generation of missionaries, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness in every moment and the beauty of partnership in the Gospel. Your prayers, encouragement, and support continue to uplift us and make this mission possible. Thank you for walking this journey with us.

Here’s a glimpse at what God has been doing in the past few months…

Settling In

This fall, after an incredible summer in Taiwan, we returned home to begin the process of truly settling in. With so little time to unpack before we left, we were greeted by a mountain of boxes waiting for us. Slowly but surely, we’ve been turning this house into a home—organizing, decorating, and finding a place for everything. While it’s been a long process, we’re starting to feel settled, and it’s such a joy to see our space come together as a reflection of God’s provision and faithfulness.

Weathering Hurricane Milton

Back in early October, Hurricane Milton swept through our area. We are incredibly grateful that the Teen Missions base and staff housing sustained only minimal damage, and everyone remained safe. Thank you for your prayers during this time. This experience reminded us how faithful God is—even in the storms—and how blessed we are to have a community like you lifting us up. Please continue praying for those whose lives were devastated by this year’s storms.

Teaching at the Sojourner School of Ministry

Our time of teaching at the Sojourner School of Ministry has been deeply rewarding and fruitful. Sharon has been leading a course on Spiritual Life, and Craig has been teaching Homiletics, and we are co-teaching the timeless wisdom of the Minor Prophets. It’s a joy to see the students’ passion for God’s Word and their desire to grow deeper in their faith. Their excitement inspires us and reaffirms the importance of investing in the next generation of leaders.

Sharing the Ministry of Teen Missions

Over the last few months, we’ve had the privilege of promoting Teen Missions in Oregon, Ohio, and Florida. We’ve had the opportunity to share in churches, conferences, and schools. Meeting so many young people with a heart for missions has been such an encouragement! Next month, we’ll head to a youth conference in North Carolina to share about Teen Missions. Please join us in praying that God will move powerfully and raise up new workers for the harvest.

Celebrating the Holidays

This past holiday season was extra special for us because, for the first time in several years, our entire family was together! It was a time of laughter, love, and making memories that we’ll hold close to our hearts. These joyful memories have reminded us of the incredible blessing of family, and they continue to inspire and encourage us as we move forward into all that God has planned.

Looking Ahead

We’re thrilled about the exciting opportunities God has given us this year!

SPRING BREAK

New York City: We’ll lead a spring break team to work with a church that has been bringing God’s love, hope, and practical help to the heart of the city for nearly 100 years. We’re so honored to partner with this incredible ministry.

SUMMER MISSIONS

South Africa: We will lead a team to South Africa to visit villages, share the Gospel with children and families through the Sunday School ministry, and work on improvement projects at the Teen Missions base. We’re eager to see how God will use both our outreach and practical work to make a lasting impact.

Tanzania: Nora will join a team heading to Tanzania, where she’ll help with medical clinics in remote villages, bringing care and compassion to those in need.

Uganda: Liam will lead a team to Uganda, where they’ll conduct medical and eye clinics and construct a security wall around the Teen Missions base—an important project for the safety of the staff and ministry.

Hungary: Elena and Judah will lead a team to Hungary, where they’ll assist with renovating a church, minister to widows in the community, and serve in children’s camps. Their work will be a beautiful way to share God’s love with people of all ages.

INTERNSHIP

After the summer, Liam will embark on a year-long mission internship, serving in India, Uganda, and Tanzania. We’re so proud of his dedication and excited to see how God will work in and through him during this transformative season.

SOUTH AFRICA ENCOURAGERS

We have been appointed to a three-year term of encouraging and supporting the ministry at our Teen Missions base in Pretoria, South Africa.

Grateful Hearts

We are so excited to see how God will use these upcoming trips and ministry opportunities to transform lives. Pray for the students who will be trained for the mission field, pray that God will give us wisdom and strength to lead well, and pray for the hearts of those we meet to be open to His love.

As always, we are so thankful for you. Your prayers, generosity, and encouragement mean more than we can say. Together, we’re making an eternal impact, and we couldn’t do it without you. We are so grateful for your partnership and can’t wait to share the stories of how God moves this year!

With love and gratitude,

The Butlers
