Decker Newsletter (2026 Fall)

Family, Friends, and supporters,

So much has happened since my last update! This summer was an epic summer that I enjoyed very much. I was one of 4 other leaders with 9 team members, and though our team was small, we were used in some pretty awesome ways. Our team was important in making sure the Florida Boot Camp ran smoothly, and we did so by helping teach classes and work on projects that needed done around Boot Camp. In Italy our project was more or less the same, just in another country with a few different languages besides English. The first half of our time there we were preparing for Boot Camp by setting up the Obstacle Course, tentsites, eating sites, and general cleanup jobs. The second half of our time was spent with the Boot Camp. There were about 45 teens divided into 3 teams and it was such a fun time with them. We helped teach classes, judge the obstacle course, and work on other projects. At the end of our time, we even got to spend a day in Rome which was incredible. Overall my summer was awesome and I am very thankful for my time in Italy and the time with my team. Looking ahead, this fall and winter will be busy with setting up team travel and projects, processing team member applications, and placing leaders. Lord willing we will have 16 teams next summer, and Abigail and I are currently assigned to the Philippines team and we are very excited. Thank you for your continued support to me and being a part of my ministry team, I couldn’t do any of this without you!

Abigail and I are getting married on October 10th, and we are thrilled! After our wedding in Idaho, we will be traveling to Europe for our honeymoon as well as some team setup travel, and we will be back in FL at the end of October. Thank you for your prayer and encouragement as we have been together and as we join our lives together!

Prayer Requests:
- Abigail and I's adjustment to married life
- Continued and increased prayer and financial support
- Continued learning in my work and a good adjustment for Abigail when she joins staff
