Foy Newsletter (2026 Fall)
Hello, friends and family! Trust this finds you well! Though we were up north for the summer and weren’t in Florida for Boot Camp, we enjoyed watching the rallies and seeing the excitement as the teams were ‘launched’ into missions. Updates from the teams on Facebook helped us keep track of the ministry happening around the world. We're continuing to work to advance the mission of Teen Missions through fundraising and partner-building. To celebrate our (June 7th) 40th anniversary, we took a ‘local’ camping trip. In spite of rainy weather, we enjoyed ourselves and visited a few IN state parks to hike, swim, and scope out other nearby campgrounds. We had the opportunity to go West and visit supporters and family. We stopped in TN to visit with Shane, Jodie, and Quinley to celebrate Quinley’s 10th birthday! We also stopped in KS on the way to visit dear friends and Lori’s cousins in Wichita. We arrived in CO at Chris and Katie’s house on Callahan’s 2nd birthday. Katie had a party for both Callahan's and Theo’s (early 7th) birthdays so we could be there and celebrate both of them! We loved Colorado Springs and had adventures to Rainbow Falls, a penny arcade, walking the trails through their neighborhood, and ‘enjoyed’ losing many UNO games to Theo! On our way home we visited with Lori’s Uncle Carl and his granddaughter, Kelsey. We also had a lovely visit in KC with Lori’s sister, Cathie, and her husband, Jim. The Lord directed us to Brown County Community Church in Nashville. Lori has become the pianist and we are thankful for the church family we have found! God is Good! Praying that you all are blessed as you serve Jesus!
One of the greatest blessings in our lives is being able to spend time with our kids and grandkids. We have been able to see all of them this summer and we are grateful!
Prayer requests: We’re thankful for God’s many blessings. We appreciate your prayers for Shonn’s health. He’s been able to navigate his health better in Indiana through the IU Health system. Pray for upcoming nuerology, cardiac, and pulmonary appointments in October.
Psalm 100:3 ESV. Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
