Judah & Elena Kelly Newsletter (Winter 2026)
Hello!
It’s been a while since our last newsletter, and a lot has happened since then.
First—and most exciting—we found out this fall that we are expecting a baby boy due in July! We are overjoyed and have loved sharing the news, going to ultrasounds, and preparing to welcome our son. Because of this, our plans to lead a team this summer have changed. We’ll be home instead—Judah will be working Boot Camp as summer staff, and I’ll be preparing to welcome our baby.
In other news, we had been praying for God to provide an affordable and dependable car, as our previous vehicle had served us well but was nearing the end of its lifespan. God answered those prayers, and we were able to find a car that has been a huge blessing. Thank you so much for praying with us!
After a wonderful holiday season spent with family, Judah had the opportunity to go on a mini mission trip to Costa Rica and Nicaragua for a week. Judah said this:
I loved being able to see Central America and the people there. I’m glad to have had the opportunity, it was great. Our group had the chance to visit multiple locations in the capital cities of Costa Rica and Nicaragua where ministry was actively happening. There were learning centers, a physical therapy clinic, sports areas, and much more. It was cool to see God using ordinary people doing extraordinary things. So many people have and will get to see Christ through these ministry opportunities. Praise the Lord.
Another update—My brother Liam recently moved from Malawi to Uganda with another intern-John. They’ll be there until mid-March, and he’s excited to continue experiencing and exploring new parts of Africa. My dad recently got the chance to visit him for 10 days. He really enjoyed getting to see Liam, explore Uganda a bit and see what Liam's been up to.
Also if you didn't know, Judah spent most of his childhood as a missionary kid in Uganda, so my Dad also got to visit the church that Judah's parents helped to plant in Kampala, and where Judah lived and went to school.
Prayer Requests:
-Please pray for me and our baby boy as he continues to grow, and for a healthy delivery and recovery.
-Please also pray for Judah and me as we continue to grow our support to accommodate our expanding family. God has faithfully provided for us, and we trust He will continue to do so.
-Keep Liam and John in your prayers as they continue to serve in Uganda.
Thank you all for your prayers and support, we appreciate all of you greatly.
