Kelly Newsletter (2026 Spring)

Hello everyone!

We hope you’re all doing well! Things have been good here—just very busy lately with work, family time, and preparing for the baby's arrival. We spent Easter with my family, which was such a wonderful time together. Elena also had a baby shower last month, and it was so special getting to celebrate with family and friends. Even her grandma from Ohio was able to come down for the occasion. Other than a few small trips, we’ve stayed close to home as the due date gets closer.

Mom and the little one are both doing well. The cysts she’s had throughout pregnancy are still there, but at this point they are not a cause for concern, and we’re very thankful everything continues to look healthy. After delivery, doctors will determine whether they need to be removed.

Also, Elena’s brother, Liam, recently returned after spending the last nine months in Malawi, Uganda, and Tanzania. He still has a few months left in his internship, which he’ll finish here in the U.S. and as a leader on a Teen Missions team this summer.

In other news, Diana (Elena’s sister-in-law) recently underwent surgery to remove a kidney after cancer was discovered. Praise the Lord, she is recovering well and is now cancer free!

This summer will look a little different for us at Teen Missions. Normally we would be preparing to lead a team overseas, but because of Elena’s due date, we’ll be staying home this year. We’ll definitely miss serving alongside a team and sharing the Gospel abroad, but we also feel a lot of peace and excitement as we prepare to meet our son.

• The team members that will be going on teams this summer. That their lives will be greatly impacted by their time serving the Lord in missions.
