Lane Newsletter (2026 Spring)

We are on the countdown as summer is nearly here! In June, nearly 300 team members and leaders, and over 60 volunteers will fill the Teen Missions property for training. Once training is complete, teams will travel to 14 different locations across the world! We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for all of us!

In March, our oldest child, Annabelle, got married to Joshua Planty. It was a beautiful week and one we will always cherish. We spent the entire week before the wedding with Annabelle preparing for the ceremony and reception, and we will always hold that time close to our hearts. We are blessed to have Josh in our family, and we know the Lord has great plans for their lives! They have settled in Charleston, South Carolina. Josh is working and going to school for his Master's degree at Charleston Southern University. 

Mary recently returned from a mission trip to West Asia with Refuge 139.  She helped with a program for missionary kids while their parents were in a conference. This incredible week of ministry was a blessing, and she hopes to volunteer again. To learn more about Refuge 139, visit www.refuge139.net.

This summer, we (Brant, Mary & Jesse) go to the Philippines. Allison is leading a team to Hungary, and Jonathan is a team member to Paraguay. Because of your prayers and giving, we praise the Lord that we received the funds required by Teen Missions for these trips! Please pray that extra funds needed for supplies will be provided. Partnership Dinner: On August 29, 2026, we will host a partnership dinner at Turbeville Southern Methodist Church in Turbeville, SC, at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. We do this every other year to honor each of you who faithfully partner with us through prayer, encouragement and giving so we can serve in ministry. Our family will also share about our summer.
