Maher Newsletter (2026 Fall)

Happy Fall. We just finished a successful summer of mission trips where lives were changed. We were a part of the Launch Team staying behind to help facilitate all the teams on the field. Our favorite part of the summer was watching the team presentations at the end of the trips. What a joy to hear the testimonies of projects accomplished, the Gospel shared, lessons learned and lives changed. Linda taught three Bible classes on the life of David at each of the three Debriefs to complete the summer Bible study focus in Psalms and Proverbs. On August 14 we loaded up and traveled north. We spent time in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Alabama. It was a blessing to get away for a time of rest. In Pennsylvania we shared updates in two partner churches and spent time with two of Linda's siblings. We made a trip to a place we had never gone to celebrate Linda's sisters birthday. Jim Thorpe was a fun destination. We took a train ride, toured a mansion from the 1800s and even saw a real black bear. This was our first trip to Pennsylvania since Linda's mom had passed so it was bittersweet. In Michigan we were able to spend some time with our son Tom, and his family. Our oldest granddaughter Elsie (14) is taller than her Nana. In Alabama we spent time with our son Zachary and his family. We met our newest grandchild Jubilee Jael born on May 31. She is beautiful. It was a joy to spent time with the 6 grandchildren we do not see more often. These next few months we will continue to serve in our respective departments. Linda will teach a class in the Bible school and most of our weekends will be spent with either our daughter or grandchildren.

We are grateful for our ministry team that partners with us. Thank you never seems enough however, we are so blessed by your faithfulness. It was encouraging for us to visit with Palisades Bible and Ebenezer Faith Bible Churches. Both have been standing behind us for many years. We appreciate your continued prayers that we can meet our monthly budget and maintain a strong prayer warrior team. May HE find us faithful.

Prayer requests: 1. Health and Strength to continue in ministry. 2. Wisdom in our various responsibilities. 3. Spiritual growth for each of our children and grandchildren.

The Lord is my Shepherd;I shall not want. Psalm 23:1
