Mpagaja Newsletter (Fall 2026)
Greetings from our family to yours, We hope you had a lovely summer. Our summer was a unique time for our family as Jahswel led the Malawi team for 7 weeks, while I and our boys spent time at home and in Pennsylvania visiting family, all while in my third trimester. MALAWI TEAM Jahswel had an amazing time in Malawi with a team of 18 teenagers and 5 other leaders (his first time back home since we moved to the US in 2023!). Their team was an eyeglass/medical team, where they hosted 11 clinics in 4 different villages. The team members really enjoyed helping people physically and spiritually, by sharing the gospel with them after they’ve received help for their physical problems. They tested people for malaria, treated skin rashes, wounds, scabies, ring worms, helped many people with backaches, and they even bandaged the wounds of a lady with leprosy. It was such a blessing to see the joy on people’s faces when they experienced the difference of putting on eye glasses. We praise God that 33 people gave their lives to Christ during our time there. It was easy for Jahswel to bridge the gap between his American team and the Malawians. He was able to serve his team well by knowing the language and culture and knowing where to go as they traveled around Malawi. Thank you so much for all your prayers for the team and our family during this time.
BABY GIRL We praise the Lord for giving us our beautiful daughter, Miriam Beverly Mpagaja, born at 41 weeks on September 28th, weighing 8lbs 8oz and measuring 21 inches long. It was a smooth delivery filled with answered prayers. We are feeling abundantly blessed and enjoying all the newborn bliss. Thank you so much for your prayers for me and our baby girl.
We are praying for God to provide sufficient monthly support for our family. As of now we need $1600. We would like to ask you to hold hands with us in prayer for God to bring in more people, and for you to prayerfully consider partnering with us financially. Thank you for standing with us as we serve the Lord with Teen Missions.
Prayer requests: - Praise for a smooth delivery of our daughter - Pray for a smooth transition as a family of 5 - Pray for financial provision for our family - Pray for wisdom
For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods. Whatever the LORD pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps. Psalm 135:5-6
