Robert & Dorah Yoder Newsletter (Spring 2024)
Dearest Family and Friends.
Calvary greetings to you all in the wonderful Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray and trust that you are well, as for us we are doing okay by the grace of the almighty God. We continue to thank the Lord for his love and mercy upon us as a family.
On March 1st, we moved to Teen Missions in Merritt Island. We are settling in by the grace of God and thankful for the Teen Mission’s family. They have been so helpful in making sure everything is going well with us. We are home-schooling the children. They have found and made new friends on Heavenly Street where most of the staff live, and we thank God. This year we celebrated Easter differently. We decided not to go home to North Florida, so we had breakfast/lunch on the street with TMI families, students, and the group that came to help at the base on Spring Break.
We applied for Dorah’s green card and so far, so good. It has been accepted and she has done the fingerprints already. In July we have to submit her medical, so continue praying and trusting God for a quick and smooth process.
Dorah teaches the children. Twice a week, in the afternoon, she comes to the office to help. For the past month or so she has been doing inventories in two trailers. I serve through the week at the base. On Wednesdays, our kids love to work at the base in the afternoon after our staff potluck lunch. Our daughter, Esther, just turned 14 and we thank God for her life—she is a blessing to us.
It has been a blessing to serve the Lord with men and women who love God and His people, learning every day and trusting God’s timing, knowing He has a plan and a purpose for us, and we will get there by His grace.
We were also privileged this year to participate in the Mud Run preparations and setting up the Big Top. The Mud Run was great, and we thank God for all the runners and everyone who came. Our family had responsibilities—Dorah helped prepare food, and I kept runners from running into the water where there was an alligator. Esther, Ethan and Elisha were paired with students in different locations giving water to the runners when they came by. We had about 628 runners! We enjoyed the Mud Run!
We enjoy watching rockets every week because we are living near the Space Center, but they can be so loud and shake the trailer, especially at night. Our kids also enjoy visiting their grandparents and cousins at least once a month and we thank God for this.
We want to thank all our family and friends for your faithful and generous support in prayer and finances. Your support is highly appreciated. Thank you so much for being there for us and also for being part of our journey of serving the Lord. We pray that the Lord keeps you and guides you, may His face shine upon you as you keep on serving Him.

Please pray for God to guide us as we are in this time of transition
In His Hands
