Storey Newsletter (2026 Spring)

Greetings from Iowa!!

I have settled into my new home in Iowa and have survived the first winter here.  I'm thankful it was a mild one. I have been working from here now for about seven months and I'm preparing now to head back to Florida for Boot Camp.

My work has been very much the same as it was in Florida except that my responsibilities for Boot Camp have mostly been given to other TMI staff.  I have been preparing for my job in the Boot Camp Office and looking forward to being back to take up my post there.  Boot Camp is very exciting for all of the staff and we are all looking forward to meeting the team members when they arrive next month.

I have continued to work with our overseas bases auditing their finances and with our VP of Operations to be sure all of the overseas work is going well and they have everything they need to keep the ministry going well there.

It has been a huge blessing to be close enough to enjoy some of my grandkids in their different activities.  I have learned a lot about archery and wrestling. I have been able to enjoy school concerts and church activities both here in Iowa and in Pennsylvania.  My sister-in-law and I traveled to Pennsylvania to see “Mamma Mia!” starring my grandson.  They did such a great job and it was fun to see a whole other side of him.  We still talk about his performance.  He just graduated and is heading off to college this fall. One of the most exciting family events coming up is that my first granddaughter is getting married!  She also just graduated from college.

I also have a new roommate!  A purebred standard poodle named Henry (a gift from my grandson) has been my constant companion for a couple of months now.  He is so sweet and a lot of fun!

Thank you very much for your continued prayers and support.  I know I say this every time, but I am just so grateful to be allowed to do the work that I am doing and you are all the reason it is possible.
