Tauscher Newsletter (2026 Spring)

Hello Prayer Partners, 

Ministry has felt and looked a bit different in this past season. After my younger brother died at the end of December, many of our plans and priorities shifted.

I could go into a list of projects that Joel and I have been doing in the last four months at Teen Missions. But it feels like it would be a poor representation of what we’ve been working on. 

Honestly, the project has been making it through daily life and ministry in what has felt like a fog. The work has been trying to open God’s Word, filled with questions and discouragement. 

It’s true that at the same time, Joel has been working on maintaining the property, and I have been doing design work and launching the 2027 Trip opportunities. However, the ministry we’ve really seen in this season has been people reaching out to us, praying for my family, and sending flowers. 

Psalm 91:4 has been standing out to me recently, 

“He will cover you with his pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and buckler.”

It is God’s faithfulness that guards me, not my own. He can handle my questions and difficulties in this season. It’s His strength that sustains us. 

I can’t help but wonder if this might be one of the most fruitful seasons of ministry we will ever see this summer, as we approach it more humbly and more aware of our need for Christ and the hope of the Gospel than ever before.

Recently thousands of teens have been serving on mission trips within their own countries and cultures. Winter and spring are some of Teen Missions biggest involvement seasons, with many Boot Camps happening during these months.

We’re excited for our trips starting in June. We love discipling youth and encouraging their walk with Jesus. We can’t wait to serve our team in Paraguay and accomplish Kingdom work for future generations!
