Watts Newsletter (2026 Spring)

Greetings Family & Friends!

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but we are on the countdown to Boot Camp & Summer Teams 2026! It seems like we just celebrated the new year. A lot has happened since our last letter. Trey, Sadie and Clara returned from Panama, where they were able to take part in some amazing ministry opportunities. We celebrated the third anniversary of our joining staff with TMI. Our Southern Methodist Church group came down to help us prepare for the Mud Run and the summer ministries. Big Top went up! Our family took part in our fourth Tough Gator 5K Mud Run, hosted annually to raise money for mercy ministries at our overseas bases. (Praise the Lord that this year, 26 people gave their life to Jesus at the Mud Run!) And, we are currently wrapping up our homeschool year while also prepping for each of our summer teams.

Each of our girls wanted to participate in the trial run of the Tough Gator 5K Mud Run, running with Sojourner students and friends. Then, on the day of the Mud Run, all of the kids volunteered to lend a hand during the event. Sadie, Clara, and JC, along with Geli, one of our Sojourner interns, manned one of the water stations.

As always, we covet your prayers for our family as we serve separately during the summer. Lord willing, Trey & I will be leading Team Zambia on an eyeglass/medical team. JC & Ellie will be with us. We will be traveling to several TMI Rescue Units to host clinics for eyeglasses and basic first aid, as well as sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through drama, puppets, song, and testimony. Sadie will be heading to Paraguay to assist with construction on the new TMI base property, as well as participating in Gospel outreach. Clara will be traveling to Madagascar to work at the TMI base on some construction projects and evangelism.

Thank you for giving and praying for our family!
