Watts Newsletter (Fall 2026)
Greetings Family & Friends!
Psalm 126:3 says, “The Lord has done great things for us and we are filled with joy.” As with previous summers, this rings true again. It has been amazing to hear the stories from the various teams that were sent out this summer of all the ways the Lord provided, protected, answered prayers and performed miracles for them. We thought we would share a brief testimony from each of our own kids.
Ellie (Zambia): I’m thankful I had the opportunity to play with the kids in Zambia and help with the clinics. My favorite job in the clinic was working in the pharmacy. I also like helping in the kitchen, especially making yeast rolls.
JC (Zambia): I prayed to preach the Gospel this summer and God gave me the chance to share with a few people while we were there.
Clara (Madagascar): I enjoyed working alongside the Malagasy staff and students. It was also really encouraging to see the kids in the Sunday School circuits and how they had so much joy despite living in such poverty.
Sadie (Paraguay): One thing that impacted me was how servant-hearted and generous the Paraguayans are. I really enjoyed seeing our prayers answered in miraculous ways, especially when the Lord protected us and the property from a fast approaching wildfire. Thank you for your prayers for our family and the summer teams. We truly see God’s handiwork through it all. Spring Break and Summer 2027 teams are already accepting registrations! Please be praying now for those that the Lord is calling to sign up. We look forward to seeing returning team members and new faces! We’re excited to see what the Lord has in store!
Zambia 2026 was incredible! Our team was an eyeglass/medical team and it was truly an honor to serve alongside these team members and leaders. The Lord allowed us to see over 600 patients in our clinics, with over 75 accepting Christ as their Savior. We’re awestruck with all that the Lord allowed us to see and be a part of.
Prayer requests: - For Mary, JC, and Ellie's homeschooling - For Sadie & Clara's junior and sophomore year at a new school - For Trey as he serves in various roles in the office
"Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness." Psalm 115:1
