Over recent months, extended periods of drought have devastated agricultural production across the region, leaving many families without enough food to meet their basic needs. Mukwakwa community, which relies heavily on agriculture for sustenance, has been severely affected. The lack of rain has resulted in poor crop yields, leading to increased food insecurity and heightened vulnerability among residents, particularly children and the elderly.
