Blessings

We arrived back at the Florida base, but I wanted to send one more update from our time in Thailand before we start Debrief.

The Thailand team finished their time in country with a fun dinner out and another trip to the Night Bazaar for last minute souvenirs on Thursday! We were blessed to be able have our devotion time be led by the staff of the academy both Wednesday and Thursday nights. They were inspirational and it was a gift to learn more about these amazing people we were staying with and serving alongside.

Friday, we had a dry day! We were so excited to go out and finish a couple of painting projects that we had been working on. The volleyball court got its first coat of blue paint and then after lunch the rain began. As we are flying back the missionary sent us a completed photo of the volleyball court which they just put the boundary lines on!! So fun to see it complete. We spent the rest of Friday packing up our things before the Friday night worship at BIFA (Brazilian International Football Academy). Each week the kids from the children’s homes we worked at come to play football, then worship together, and have a meal together. Our team has been leading worship, performing dramas, and sharing testimonies during this time. This Friday the kids performed for us. The missionaries told us afterwards that the kids were encouraged by seeing us share and so they wanted to do the same for us. They did a wonderful drama about God's protection over His children against the enemy. The Thai kids are very shy, and this was a big step out of their comfort zone. Their testimonies were well done, and the Thai people LOVE to worship! What a gift for our team to be able to worship together with this group of young people one last time. Some made real connections, and they will miss their new friends.

Saturday, we loaded up and began our travel back to Merritt Island. Our flights were all safe and on time. We were truly blessed with travel days.

Every few days as a team in Thailand we would reflect on how God had been blessing us. As leaders we thought that sharing this list would give you a glimpse of the hearts of your children and what they chose to focus on!
