G’day from Australia! :)

The first week has flown by, and the team has kept extremely busy!!
On the fourth, we had the opportunity to have a huge bonfire and roast some marshmallows over a log, which were super yummy. The weather has continued to be chilly in the mornings/evenings and pretty warm in the afternoons. This past week, the main project has included clearing brush and painting a small house on the property.
This weekend has been full of fun and adventures! Yesterday (Saturday), we had the chance to take a hike up Mount Tamborine and catch some good photos. Today (Sunday), we attended Noosa Church, and ran the children’s program. The team was split and they helped teach and entertain different age groups. We had lots of fun playing games, teaching lessons, and some of us got to take care of babies in the nursery.
The leadership team greatly appreciates the unity and fun personalities amongst the team members. They are all lively, funny, and more importantly, very sweet and obedient.
The whole team loves baby Esther, and they are all so gentle with her!
We’re learning more about what it means to work and play as a whole team, and to love one another with selfless love. They’re doing great and it is such a blessing to watch them grow and serve the Lord!
Here are a few testimonies from team members:

Chase:
“I’ve been learning about God and how to work hard. I’ve had a lot of fun doing a lot of stuff (painting, etc.). So far it’s been a great, and I’m having fun spending time with my team.”

Jacob:
“Heyo friends and family! The weather here is quite chilly… The leaders are great! Australia is very pretty and I can’t wait to show y'all all my pictures and videos! We’ve painted and done some other projects which I’ve enjoyed. Love yall!”

Rebekah:
“Hello from Australia! Our team has been serving the staff here so far by painting/prepping a house on property for a staff family to move into. In addition, we have cleaned up the woods of overgrowth and debris. Originally we thought we would be enclosing a pole barn, but plans change, and our team has done a wonderful job adjusting and keeping willing and servant hearts… The biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is that I need to be willing to live in discomfort for the sake of Christ .”

The Lord bless you all, family and friends! Please continue praying for spiritual growth, and for opportunities to see the Lord working in big ways this summer.
