Hello to the family & friends of our Australia team!
As Boot Camp quickly comes to an end, we are enjoying the growing friendships on our team. The Lord is good, and has continued to keep everyone safe and healthy. Once again, the only health issues we have seen are some minimal blisters.
It still hasn't rained here at the Lord's Boot Camp, which is incredibly rare! This is the rainy season in Florida, so it has been nice to maintain dry boots and clothes.
These past few days have included some new and exciting classes! Last week we took music, carpentry, and concrete, as was mentioned in the last report. This week, we participated in puppets and drama, as well as painting and digging. They are learning and continuing to be respectful and joyful as they go about their training!
This group of teenagers has been extremely sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Every night in rally, they are absorbed in worship and are intent on just spending time in the presence of the Lord. It blesses me every night to stand in the back and watch them lift their hands and give glory to God!
Today and tomorrow (Thursday) are our last training days for Boot Camp, and then we will be preparing to pack out and tear down sound equipment, tents, and different miscellaneous things around the property. Commissioning Night is on Saturday, and we will be leaving for the airport Sunday after lunch.
Please continue to keep your kiddos in prayer as we aim to finish Boot Camp strong! We only have a few days left, so they need continued strength and stamina to finish well. Please also pray for safe travels as we gear up for the airport in just a few days, and for continued unity and bonding times as a team.
Continue to be encouraged, family and friends! They are doing so well, we are so proud of them, and they are growing so much in the Lord. They may be a little smelly, but they are serving the Lord, and that is a beautiful thing to see! :)
We can't wait to see how the Lord will move on the field!
