This week we finished up at the kids camp. The last few days were a lot of fun playing games and getting to know the kids better. The team handed out some wordless bracelets and worked on how to present the gospel through the colors. Saturday night they had a really fun time getting ice cream and hanging out at the park across from the shop playing ball with the neighborhood kids. They took the bracelets up there again and made some fun connections with the local teens and young children. Today we visited a church in Tirana. The team sang a couple songs, and one team member gave their testimony. After that, we had a delicious lunch of local Albanian food and headed up into the hills to visit a castle in Kruje. We were able to do some excellent souvenir shopping at the bazaar there, and it was so fun watching the kids pick out specific things they thought each of their family members would like. Tomorrow we are moving locations and are excited about our last week here although the team members don’t want to talk about having to leave yet. They have really bonded.
Please pray for us that our last week will be effective and we will continue to let our light shine for Jesus.
Ben M. While we have been in Albania, we have been working at camps. At these camps, we do things at normal teenagers would not do like puppets, singing, theater in the public. But it’s great because God has definitely given the team boldness- Boldness to do the things that we do as loud and passionately as we can. God has blessed this team so much and has blessed me with this team. It’s been wonderful to see the joy that this team has brought to the disabled and the kids, and I look forward to the family camp. Thank you for listening. I miss you, Mom, Dad, Paul, Amy, and Erie. Love you guys.
Ayden D. Hi family, today is the last day in Marikaj. We have had so much joy in getting to know the Albanian children and the people of the disabled camp. One interesting thing that happened was there were fireworks on the fourth! No idea why, but it was cool nonetheless. There have been so many ways we have seen God work. God bless!
