Boot Camp has officially begun here in Mexico!

Boot Camp has officially begun here in Mexico! All team members arrived safely on Monday and Tuesday, and today (Wednesday) marks our first full day of classes.

Obstacle Course Prep
Monday was spent finishing up the obstacle course. We installed Jacob's Ladder, completed construction on the wall, and filled the slough with water. It was a big day of teamwork and accomplishment.

Sightseeing and Team Bonding
On Tuesday, we took a break to explore the local culture. We visited the Guachimontones pyramids, where we learned about the ancient civilizations of the region. Afterward, we enjoyed lunch at a lakeside restaurant near La Vega Lake, followed by some fun and relaxation at a small waterpark. The team also got to test out the obstacle course wall together, definitely a highlight for everyone!

Obstacle Course Judging Assignments
Each morning, our team helps judge the course. Here's the current lineup:

Jacob’s Ladder – Peyton

The Narrow Way (our new obstacle!) – Lily

Fruits of the Spirit – Andrew

Hezekiah’s Tunnel – Evan

Pride to the Floor – Fiona

World Map – Cory

Needle’s Eye – Benjamin

Asaph – Micah

Books of the Bible – Angela

Wall – Mr. Seth

Classes and Worship
Andrew, Cory, and Fiona are assisting with the drama class. In the evenings, Mr. Josh and Lily have joined with some of the Mexican team leaders to help lead worship. Our team also shared during the evening rally by performing a drama and singing a couple of songs, one of them in Spanish!

Weather
We’ve been blessed with beautiful weather, highs in the low 80s and a refreshing breeze, though we’ve had a few rain showers.

Final Thoughts
It’s been a joy to be a part of what God is doing here. Even with language differences, worshiping together reminds us that we are one body in Christ, working together to love, encourage and bring the good news of salvation to everyone.
