Greetings Family and Friends!

We are on the final stretch of Boot Camp and there is excitement in the air. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday have given us the opportunity to learn some new skills. We have been taking an advanced evangelism class in the morning to better learn how to share with others about our faith. Our other new class is drama. You have some talented children and they enjoy learning how to perform these dramas to share Christ in places where there might be a language barrier. The dramas are simple, but have a powerful message. I think we will be able to use the puppets and dramas quite a bit in Thailand. Monday afternoon we got to work for a couple of hours clearing a walking path. The kids got to use the sledge hammers to break up some bad sidewalk sections, and the rest of us cleared brush and palm branches. They had so much fun working together and we were able to accomplish a lot! Tuesday and Wednesday we had the opportunity to attend an ESL class to help us learn creative ways to teach English overseas. I think we will have an opportunity to do a VBS style camp while in Thailand and these skills will come in handy!

Our team is working on a presentation for tomorrow. It is an opportunity for us to put together our skills of puppets, drama, singing, and testimonies all into a twenty minute presentation. We will perform in front of another team and they will critique us, and then we will switch. This will be something that we will do many times on our trip. As we learn new songs and get better at the various dramas we will switch things up and vary what we present. They are having a lot of fun putting it together and I can't wait for them to start sharing it in Thailand.

Rallies have been amazing the past couple of nights with our special speaker Mr. Paul Veit. I would encourage you to check out his website https://evangelisticevents.com/. The messages stirred the teams heart and gave them a lot to think about. The Spirit is moving, and it is a beautiful thing to see them grow and let down some walls.

This team is working so well together. The Obstacle Course continues to be a highlight of their day. We have been consistently getting about five to seven kids over the wall each morning, but they wanted more! This morning they were so focused. One volunteer commented about how well they stayed together and encouraged one another. When they arrived at the wall, they continued their focus and got TEN kids over! They were so excited and it was a huge boost to their enthusiasm for the day.

This is our last report from Boot Camp. It is hard to believe that we will start taking things down and packing in just two more days. I will leave you with some words from some of the teammates. We appreciate your prayers as we prepare to travel. Thank you again for entrusting your children to us for the summer. They miss you, but are having a wonderful time together.

Hudson P. Hi mom, I miss you. Boot Camp is going good.

Manean C. Dearest parents, I would say about boot camp and how they have been treating us well. I do need more sleep though.

Joey B. Hello, I just want to say that boot camp is going fine and it's amazing to see just how much this bootcamp is bringing us together as a team. I can't wait to get out to the field!

Julia H. Hey! Boot Camp is going absolutely amazing! The Lord is working, the food is amazing! Miss y'all!

Kenna P. Boot Camp is going ok. I love the OC! The food is amazing and bucket laundry is sublime. I'm struggling not being there for the problems going on at home. I like my team and have made some good friends, but I'm having trouble being around people all the time.

Logan T. I'm loving Boot Camp and loving every sermon that they have. Everyone on my team is so caring and kind. I can't believe it's almost over, it has gone so fast. I'm looking forward to Thailand. Love you all, Logan

Laurelyn V. Boot Camp is fun, bucket baths ain't as hard as I thought. I love my team and have amazing leaders. Miss y'all, love y'all.
