Greetings from Colombia!

We arrived to our destination at 3:55 am on Tuesday morning!Over all we had very easy travel, except for when we arrived in Colombia the drive from Bogota to Silvania was very very long due to holiday traffic. Tuesday we let the team rest as much as possible while we settled in, got groceries and organized a bit.

It has been very very exciting because there is a Preteen boot camp running here at the base in Colombia! On Tuesday evening the team got to join the Boot Camps rally and watch a soccer game!

Today we had the opportunity to tour some of the property and were able to see our project site! We got to experience some pretty spectacular views and the team is incredibly pleased with the weather as opposed to weather in Florida! Today the team got to work with the Boot Camp a little bit. They split up into five different groups and each group did something different. They did puppets, Taught how to use wordless book, music class, and a group got to play with some coloring books. They went around to each different team here and worked with them individually this evening. Tonight the team is giving a presentation at rally. They are going to sing a song and do a drama! We are so excited to see what this team is able to accomplish here in Columbia. They are all doing so well we are seeing such an improvement in their unity and their friendships with each other. It is so fun to hear them laugh with one another and to see them interact with those here in Columbia and with each other! Thank you so much for your prayers! We hope to update you again so soon.

Hi mom and dad I made it to Colombia! I did balloons making with the kids! And love the weather here. -Henry C.

God has been working in my life over the last few days. He has been showing me how to be kind and gracious all the time and not just one it is easy.
