Greetings from the Rwanda team!

Since our arrival in Rukumberi, the team had a relaxing July 4th practicing Bible memory verses, getting caught up on laundry, and starting the Genesis Bible study as well as the separate guys and girls studies.

The following day, the community gathered together, bringing tools from their farms, to work alongside us as we broke ground for the foundation of the new classroom building. The team was so excited to finally start working, and encouraged by the progress that was made in only one day!

On Sunday morning, the team enjoyed the local church choir’s singing and dancing and then were able to give a presentation themselves. They used their training from Boot Camp to share the love of Christ through worship songs, a puppet show for the kids, a testimony from Marcus M., and a drama that communicates the Gospel message.

After the team’s presentation, and Mr. Trey’s sermon, there was, of course, more upbeat singing- how sweet it is to worship as one body in Christ!

When the service was dismissed, the team was able to build friendships through playing volleyball, teaching guitar, and lots and lots of circle games with the kids.

Overall, we have experienced God’s provision and blessing in many ways and are excited to see how He will continue to work through our team as we serve Him here! Thank you so much for your faithful prayers, they are felt and seen from halfway around the world!

More updates soon! ????????
