Greetings from the Uganda Team!

First, we'd like to thank you for all your prayers for our team. As we have settled into Boot Camp and started our days of training, the team has gotten into a groove of things. We have had three full days of training so far and the team has really been enjoying all the classes. They have also gotten the hang of the Obstacle Course that they run every morning! We are so proud of how they have learned to work together to finish as a team. No one is complaining that they got a break from the course on Sunday! :) So far we have begun medical training, drama class, evangelism class, along with two hours of Bible teaching every morning. The team members are eager to learn and getting more and more excited to utilize what they are learning once we get to Uganda. The team is also having a great time at the evening rallies worshiping the Lord side by side with all the other teams and sitting under the preaching of God's Word.

Please keep praying for us all as the Lord is revealing sin issues that need to be dealt with and forgiven. Boot Camp is tough and brings a lot of issues to the surface and we are so excited to see God working in each of their lives! We are praying fervently as leaders for these team members to be open to the Lord and not miss what He has for them during this challenging time at Boot Camp. Every day the team is growing closer together and getting more open as they get to know each other. Each and every one is such a blessing to us leaders and we are so thankful for our whole team!!!

When I came to boot camp I didn't know what to expect. It has been so much fun. I love my team & my leaders. We have been together for five days and we are already great friends. Something that God has taught me so far is that I can do things I didn't know I could. Boot Camp is fun but it's preparing you for living in other countries. So it's not always easy. It's been a great experience. All the leaders love us and care for us. I can't wait for my trip to Uganda! -Genesis
