He is Working Mightily: Team Albania Update

After registration day the team began working together nicely straight away! Everyone has their own individual personalities that shine through at different moments. Some are quiet, and some are more talkative, but they are working together so well. We have a few natural leaders on the team, and it is fun seeing them get their other team members excited about what we're doing. Today they got to swim in the pool, and we've had a more laid back time this Sunday/Father's Day. They've been writing many letters today and saying memory verses as well. A few people have blisters that we've been working with; a couple tents have had a bit of water in them from the torrential rains! Just about everyone has their own unique challenges they're working through, but the kids are so humble and have soft hearts and willing spirits. We're having no behavior issues and as a leadership team just really love this group of students! Several of them have gone forward in the evening rallies to surrender major things to the Lord and get their hearts right before we minister in Albania. As a leadership team, it's humbling to us to see them draw near to the Lord like this. It's what we've been praying together about for months. God answers prayers, and He is working mightily in the Albania team already!

Elliana O. These past two days I've been shown through the rally messages, lessons and personal devos that the Lord requires obedience through everything we do. We can't make up excuses or wait for later. The Lord requires obedience in that exact time. When you feel a nudge from the Holy Spirit you shouldn't care about what others will think about you, since the salvation of souls and the obedience to the Lord is more important than any other thing in your world. When the Lord wants you to know something He will tell you, just listen.

Emmalyn R. The first couple of days at Boot Camp have really helped me through things I have been going through. Along with the rally sermons. They helped me to let go and let God. And helped me to release pain I have been holding on to and giving it to God. It also reminded me that we can't rely on our own strength and we need God's hep if we want to get through things, like if we are on the mission field or just anywhere. God wants to take your burdens and give you strength. This is what boot camp taught me, "Let go and Let God."
