Inching our way to Albania!

The Albania team finished Boot Camp strong! We were excited for our normal schedule and classes to be over, but then we switched over to new work! During boot camp “tear down” we were responsible for putting away the books of the Bible “luggage” on the obstacle course. Then we traveled MILES in wheelbarrows with our real luggage as we were packing out. These students are really putting their muscles to good use! They were so happy to see their families last night at commissioning and were absolutely BLESSED and STUFFED with all the goodies you wonderful parents provided. THANK YOU! We finalized our packing today and moved bit by bit to the airport. There were quite a few cheers as we crossed out of Teen Missions property. Right now we and our luggage are all checked in, and the team members are exploring at the gate with their travel group leaders before we board our flight. We covet your prayers. They’re working! Please pray for continued team unity and a heart to share the gospel. Next report will be from Albania!!

Jane B. Good evening from the Albania team! Now that we have officially completed Boot Camp, the Lord has been teaching me about patience. Airport procedures, long bus/planep rides, and pack out can be stressful, but I found that as our team centers on our joy for the Lord and his work, we easily overcome!

Lydia M. I wanted to share a few things that the Lord did in my heart at Boot Camp. It was quite a trying time each day, but the Lord began to unshackle me from so many futile distractions that I realized I had in the outside world. Instead of so many worldly things pounding inside my head constantly, the Lord began to fill and sustain the gap that was constantly empty. The Lord also provided such an amazing team to teach me day by day what it looks like to put away selfish ambition and instead put the interest of others first and foremost. Although each day was full of so many learning opportunities, it could also be overwhelming, but the Lord sustained me so powerfully through it all. Boot Camp was a time of laying it all down at the altar and trusting that the Lord had my whole mind, heart, and soul in his hands for good!
