Madagascar is Gladagascar to be here!
The word “Ministry” holds a lot of meaning. For this Madagascar team, ministry has been spontaneous, heartwarming, flexible, and most importantly, Holy Spirit led. We can make plans, but the Lord is the One Who directs our steps. (Proverbs 16:9).

Coming out of a blessed Sunday, the team got right back in the trenches (literally)! We had most of the team continuing on the footer and foundation. They are getting excited to be finished with the digging and move onto mixing concrete for the footer and also the foundation. In the afternoon, the team had a production meeting regarding our EV opportunity that was to come on Tuesday. The leaders left it completely up to the team and they put together a very good set. We ended the day with a chapel with the TMI Madagascar staff! They were amazing hosts as we all worshiped together. Judah Ellis and Maddie Sellars were asked by the Malagasy worship team to join them with their guitars. They led us with songs in English and really blessed us by their heart of worship. It was such a cool room to be in.

Work took place in the morning and then we were off to the Sunday School! The drive out to the Sunday School was about an hour and a couple minutes. As we were getting to our destination, one of the tires had popped due to some loose metal on the road. As we put on our presentation and played games with the kids, the Malagasy staff worked diligently to get the tire fixed for us. The Lord provided and we were blessed to be on the road back home before we knew it. It’s so awesome to see how God works and shows favor to us.

The team conducted a full work day that included helping the staff with setting up the obstacle course for the Madagascar Boot Camp. The Boot Camp is coming up quick for them, the team will actually just miss it by a day. Members of the team helped set up the wall, the slough, a rope course, and a maze. While the others continued working on the trenches for the main building that were constructing. In the afternoon, we had a group go into town and purchase 1,000 cinderblocks. The group that went into town only picked up 200 but they were a great testimony to the employees of the construction plant. An audience quickly gathered around as they watched these amazing youth serve with all their heart and with so much joy. It was a privilege to witness.

Today (as I’m writing this) the team is going out to another Sunday School to do ministry. We are looking forward to hearing amazing reports about how the Lord is working in and through these villages.
Testimonies from the Team:
Hey mom and dad!
Madagascar has been super fun! It’s been such an awesome privilege to be here. One of my favorite parts is riding in the truck. I enjoy seeing all the different unique cultural sights. It’s been fun to see the vendors and just drive through the town. Working is a lot of fun and I enjoy spending time with my team as we accomplish something for the Lord. Playing soccer with the staff and students at the Teen Missions Madagascar base has been great experience. Shoutout to Mrs. Tara Mclrath, Mrs. Lisa Marcum, and Ms. Sue from the Delta team at JFK! -Zane T.
Hey y’all! Madagascar is absolutely beautiful. I am reminded every day how faithful God is and how He is moving here. I love working with the staff and students to set up the obstacle course and build staff housing. I have made so many sweet memories that I will hold close to my heart. Shout out to Mrs. Mindy Popp and Mrs. Gay Petersen. But biggest shout out to my Mama. Love y’all! -Grace M.
Prayer Requests:
