New Week, New Ministry!

Since our last report, we have started some new activities. The team is still walking 20 minutes through the hills of the village to the same campground from last week. This week they have been helping in a kids camp. They have enjoyed playing games with the kids and doing their puppet and drama presentations. They eat their evening meal up there with the kids. They are praying that seeds will be planted and watered for the kingdom. This week they also started painting in the village church. This will be a blessing to the pastor and congregation. In the afternoon during free time the team has enjoyed venturing out to the nearby store to get snacks. They have still been learning a lot in their Bible study classes and also their separate girls and guys classes during the day before they go to the kids camp. Everyone is getting along very well and sharing a lot of laughs. One of our favorite parts of the day is our evening devotions together. We started a shout out jar where the team notices something someone else did during the day and gives a public shout out to them. We also have secret prayer partners, so a lot of encouragement is being passed around. Please continue to pray for open doors to spread the word of God.

Liam C. I’ve seen God working through this team by letting us go through the disabilities camp with no major issues and the kids camp by letting us do it safely. He has been working through the team by having zero SB’s and a painted building!

Elise P. My time here in Albania with the team has been so amazing! I love waking up every morning hearing the rooster crow through the open window. Strangely enough bucket laundry has become one of my favorite things because I love starting my day outside in the sunshine. God has been teaching me so much this trip through my team members and the Albanians we have been meeting. I am so grateful for the whole team; it seems like I’m getting to spend my summer with 17 of my best friends. There have been a lot of things this summer where I have had to trust God, but every time He has provided, and seeing that has been incredible. Mirupafshim! (“Until we see each other again” in Albanian)

Lydia M. The Lord has provided for the team in ways that we didn’t know we needed. There has been amazing fellowship within the team and with those who we minister to. Even though it may not be as we expected, I’m trusting that the Lord is doing a work greater than I could imagine. It is so beautiful here, and the people’s hearts are beautiful too.

Ashley S. (Leader)- what’s up friends and fam! We have been having a great time in Albania. As a leader, I’ve been helping out a bunch with cooking, washing dishes, going to the store, and learning how to make all kinds of food, including Albanian food! We have been helping out with a lot of camps; from disabled camps to children camps, and soon, a family camp! It’s all been a great time. The views from our kitchen and place we are staying at is absolutely phenomenal. It is so beautiful, I wouldn’t have any other view! God does such a good job with making things look so beautiful. I miss you all so so much and I can’t wait to see you when I return!
