Off to the Circuits!

Time is going by so fast! We only have two weeks left here in Madagascar, and they'll go by so quickly. Our team successfully poured the floor of the second story on Thursday. We started work at around nine in the morning and finished at around five thirty. We had many hands helping as the staff and students worked alongside our team. Everyone was proud of the work that we accomplished and of the effort that everyone put into their work. The pouring of the floor was the last big project that we had to accomplish. Over the next couple of weeks our focus is set more on EV. On Saturday, we had the chance to go do some shopping! We went to a market that was full of souvenirs. The team got many things from shirts and dresses, to knives and vanilla. We also got to experience bartering, which some of the team members weren't expecting. It was fun to watch them try to get a good price . We also went to a mall with a grocery store where we got some lunch and bought some snacks. The team really enjoyed this time to shop for their friends and families back home. We got to go and visit a different church on Sunday. The pastor spoke English well and we enjoyed worshipping with the congregation. We came home and had mac & cheese for lunch. The rest of the afternoon was spent practicing quizzing and playing basketball and soccer with the students. We had a good day. This next week is going to be full of traveling. On Monday and Tuesday, our entire team will leave in the morning and will be gone all day traveling to the circuits where the Bible students travel. On Wednesday and Thursday we will be having an overnight trip which includes a reserve where we will have the opportunity to see lemurs. The team is excited for our upcoming trips and for the opportunity to do some evangelizing. Pray for safety as we travel as well as opportunities to share the Gospel and be a light for Jesus.

Well only 2 weeks left! We laid the floors on Thursday. It was so fun, the team worked super hard. At the end we got to praise God with the Malagasies for the safe and productive day. Soon we get to go to the circuits, I'm excited to step out of my comfort zone and share the Gospel with the kids. I'm praying for everyone at home and thankful for this experience so far. -Natalie C.

I can't believe there's only two weeks left! It feels like time has flown by, but I'm so excited for the weeks to come because I know there's still more for our team to do. I've had so many new experiences, like holding a wild chameleon and teaching english to some of the Malagasy girls, and it’s been really cool to see how different cultures celebrate the Lord. I can see how God is working through my team and I'm so thankful to be a part of it! -Stasia K.

Two weeks left in Madagascar! A few days ago we got to pour the second floor of our project building; it took most of the day working together with the Malagasy students to finish. I got to be on the roof the whole time dumping buckets of concrete until the end. I've gotten to know a few of the students here on the base, and one of them even climbed thirty feet up and over the rafters to rescue my hacky sack that I got stuck in the roof-W Angelo. I'm very excited to visit the circuits this coming week and see all the kids and go into the bush. -Levi S.

I can't believe that we only have two weeks left on the field. We had our first shopping day yesterday and this week we will be going on circuits and to an animal reserve to see lemurs! -Sydney T.

God has been laying things out that I need to change. It's been helpful being with Malagasy students and playing games with them and learning from them. God is using them to change me. -Cavan J.
