On the 8th Day of Boot Camp Teen Missions Gave to Me…

If any of you have been able to watch the rallies on Youtube, you know that our team has come up with a theme for their cheers each evening to the tune of "The 12 Days of Christmas." Each day they add on something significant that happened on top of the previous day's line. The only thing they have changed is the number of SBs the team has received (Service Block, formerly known as Special Blessing). There haven't been many SBs, as they have been working hard during Boot Camp and really diving in to learning all they can while they're here for the most part. This week the team has been going to Drama and Puppet classes. Tomorrow (Thursday) they will have an opportunity to do their first team presentation where they will put together team introductions, music, drama, puppets and a team member's testimony. This will give them practice for when they share in the Philippines. The team has also been to concrete class, where they learned to mix concrete manually. They also had two block laying classes which will benefit them during our project in the Philippines. The team has really enjoyed running the obstacle course (OC) alongside Indonesia each morning. Since these two teams are smaller, we have combined for the OC and today on kitchen patrol (KP). We have one more day of training on Thursday, and Friday we will start taking down different parts of boot camp and begin the process of packing out. Saturday is commissioning...only three days away! It's hard to believe that this time next week we will be starting our project time in the Philippines! Please continue praying for our team. Pray for healing where there has been some illness, pray for continued team unity, for the leaders as they do their best to point each team member to Christ each day, and pray for each team member to be fully open and receptive to what the Lord has for them. Pray that if there are any burdens and struggles they are dealing with, that they would lay it at the feet of Jesus so He can take that away to allow them to fully surrender to what the Lord has for them. Thank you for praying for team Philippines!!

Blade M. - My experience at Teen Missions has been amazing so far!!

Jenavive M. - So far this summer, I have laid down so many chains! God has really been moving me and changing me into the Christian woman He wants me to be! I have learned that it doesn't matter what others think about your appearance, it matters what the inside looks like. Before I came and even the first seven days, I was struggling with tearing myself down about what I look like, but now I just remember that I'm made in God's image!

Aaron P. - So far my experience here at Teen Missions has been incredible. Especially through the worship, my relationship with God has grown a lot stronger. Through my devos and all the messages, I've learned how much God loves me and how much He wants to have a relationship with me. So far my favorite things are the obstacle course and the brick laying class.

Charity L. - I've been a Christian all my life. My family is very Christ-centered and I have many people I look to for help when I need it. On my trip to Peru in 2025, I saw the Light of Jesus shine in my team members and knew I was missing something in my relationship with God. I prayed and asked God to shine in me His light. I have been growing my relationship with God and will continue to.
