Since our last report, our Australia team has moved once again—this time to the Australian mainland! After several hours aboard a ferry crossing the beautiful Torres Strait and a lunch stop on Thursday Island, we arrived in the village of Seisia. From there, it was just a short bus ride to our new home in the village of Injinoo. We are serving in the Northern Peninsula Area (NPA), a remote region made up of five Indigenous communities at the northernmost tip of Australia. The area is stunning, with crystal blue ocean waters, tropical forests, and the distinctive red dirt roads that weave through the landscape. While the scenery is breathtaking, our greatest excitement is the opportunity to share the love of Christ with the people who call this place home. On our very first evening, we had the privilege of attending a NAIDOC celebration, an annual event honoring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture, and achievements. Our team operated a face-painting station throughout the celebration, giving us many opportunities to interact with families and children from the community. The evening also included traditional Indigenous food, music, and cultural dancing. We were warmly welcomed and were thankful for the chance to begin building relationships with the people here. On Sunday, we worshiped with the believers at Mount Zion Church for both the morning and evening services. Our team shared testimonies, presented dramas, and had the privilege of preaching God’s Word. It was a wonderful day of fellowship and encouragement as we joined together with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Over the coming days, we will be serving throughout the communities while continuing to build meaningful relationships with those we meet. Please pray that the Lord will open doors for Gospel conversations, prepare hearts to receive His truth, and give our team wisdom, boldness, and love as we serve.

Jed C. - Sup fam, how are you doing? It’s Jed here—your favorite! Life’s great in Australia. I’m eating some amazing food and spending all my money on unnecessary things. Can I get an amen? God is good! Things are going amazing. The Lord’s been showing me a bunch of things through His Word and has been speaking to me through prayer. Just continue to lift me up in prayer, and lift my whole team up in prayer as we continue to serve the Lord. Praise God!

The food here is amazing and the people are so kind and welcoming!
