Our time here in Hungary has come to an end…

Greetings from the Hungary team! This is our final report from Hungary, and we are wrapping things up. As we’re winding down in our final days here, the team is finishing their work projects and beginning to pack their things. On Monday, the team had our last opportunity to go shopping for souvenirs at a four story mall in Budapest. We all enjoyed getting to shop, and we ate lunch at McDonald’s. That evening, we switched things up a little bit, and swapped leaders for the guys and girls separate Bible studies, also known as GGs. This meant that Ms. Allison and Ms. Fiona talked with the guys, and Mr. Benjamin talked with the girls. It was a fun time enjoyed by all, and they asked lots of questions. They even wanted to do it again! On Tuesday, the team worked outside, and painted the fence and cleared some brush. Later that day, we took a trip down the road to the Danube River so the team could swim after a day of work. It was a great way to end the day. Today (Wednesday), the team started finishing up their projects of painting the fence, and they also started cleaning our house and packing up their things. As our time here is coming to an end, we praise God for everything He has done in the lives of the team members, and of the people of Hungary. We have some numbers from the English Camps: We had 231 total in attendance at the first one, and 122 total at the second one, and from that we had a total of 21 salvations. Praise the Lord! We pray that God would continue to work in the lives of those people. Looking ahead, we start traveling early Saturday morning, and are set to arrive in Orlando around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night. Please pray for safety and good health for all of us as we travel. We hope all of you are doing well! Below will be a couple testimonies from the team of what God has done in their life this summer. Blessings! For the parents of the team, you can be expecting a call from your kids at some point Saturday afternoon.

“During this trip, God has been teaching me a lot. One specific thing He has placed on my heart is a having a desire to share the gospel. Telling people about Him is so important and I’ve definitely realized that on this team.” -Carina C.

“Hello family and friends, hope all is well like it is here. Hungary has been a great place and everyone is so nice. I’m happy to go home and see my family, but it will be very sad to leave this place. All the kids were great and so many of them gave their lives to God. You never truly appreciate the beauty of God’s world until you travel it. All you have to do is find the place where God wants you. For me, that place was Hungary.” -Finn S.
