Teaching English: Take 2

Hello to all! Here in Hungary, we are all doing well, and are almost fully recovered from the cold that was going around. This week has been busy with our second English camp happening. The team is in charge of teaching the Hungarian students, and they are doing an excellent job. They are teaching them phonics, basic English phrases, as well as some songs. They are also playing games, doing puppets, and presenting a presentation for the kids each morning. This week, they’ve also gotten the chance to ride horses, do pottery, and archery. We’ll include some pictures below. We’ve also increased our normal KP from two to four. It’s been fun to see the kids cook, clean, and talk together. It makes for a lively kitchen! Juliette M. even made a really good coffee cinnamon cake yesterday! Some of them have even been given the chance to go to the grocery store with the lady leaders during KP, and they have really enjoyed being able to stock up on snacks! The kids have been taking turns sharing a devo each night, and it’s been cool to see how God is working in their lives. We also have a time of worship each night, and the kids really enjoy singing together. As our time here is quickly coming to an end, with only a little over a week left, we praise God for everything He has done. The kids have grown so much, and we’re so proud of them. We pray each of you are doing well, and the team sends their love to you all! Pray for us to finish strong in our remaining time here. Blessings!

“Hey y’all! This summer has been a time of growth, and it has been a great experience so far. Leading has taught me so much about myself and about the Lord. God has given me strength every single day, and has gotten me through the good and hard days. Getting to lead your kids has been such a blessing, and watching them grow closer together and individually has been so cool. Hungary is a beautiful place, and the people here are so nice. God is at work in our team, and I can’t wait to see what He does in our last couple weeks together! We would appreciate your prayers as we finish our time here! Blessings! ” -Ms. Allison

“Greetings and salutations parents and friends! Mr. Benjamin here! Just wanted to check in and say, y’all’s kiddos are doing grand! I've seen God use the team in many different ways, and it’s been awesome to see them all grow this summer! It’s been super cool to see them adapt to the various types of work we are doing. Whether it’s painting, moving brush, teaching English, or kids ministry, they have worked together as a team and served well. Hope you are all well, thanks for all of the prayers!“ -Mr. Benjamin

“Hey friends and family! Leading this team has been such a blessing and I've been loving watching the team members grow individually in their faith and as a team. They've done an amazing job doing their presentations for churches and the children's camps, singing songs, doing puppets, dramas, and sharing their testimonies. I'm excited to see them finish strong these upcoming weeks with the rest of the children's camp this week and work the next week!“ -Ms. Fiona
