We Made It!

The team has settled into our new home! After about 36 hours of travel we made it here Tuesday night at about 7:00 PM. We are one hour ahead of Eastern standard time. Easy time to change to adjust to! After landing we had a 6 hour bus ride, but we stopped for the leaders to stock up on food for the kitchen. We arrived after dark and the team got all their tents set up. Everyone slept well in the cool night, much better for sleeping than Boot Camp! Today (Wednesday July 1) has been a more relaxed settle in type of pace. The team worked on setting up clotheslines and washing clothes. They also got some time to practice music and other evangelism tools. Looking ahead, we’re excited to get started on our project. We need some more tools before starting, but we’re planning to pick them up today. Overall the team is adjusting well. We’re excited to get a rhythm going and see what God has for us next!
