Wrapping up in Paraguay

This past week our team was able to work with full force to finish up all the outstanding projects we had. We were able to finish the concrete floor and put up walls for the first room under the pole barn. We finished up both boys and girls latrines as well. We also finished off the obstacle course running trail that will be used for boot camps in the future. On Monday we were able to have a pastor and his family over for some food and ice cream. Tuesday we packed up camp and had hot dogs roasted over an open fire with some arepas made by the Colombians. After our final goodbyes we left Wednesday morning to the capital, Asuncion for some sightseeing and much needed relaxing. We stopped at a Burger King for a familiar taste of home and checked into our hotel for the next couple days. After getting settled we headed up to the rooftop of our hotel for a pool and pizza party! We are enjoying our time here and will be headed back to Florida soon for Debrief. If you receive a phone call from an unfamiliar number this weekend, it may be your team member trying to use their phone call home! This is the time you will be able to talk to your team members for a little bit before Debrief. Thank you for your continued prayers as we sightsee and return home.
