Our team had a wonderful time in Antananarivo with the team playing with the neighborhood children being the highlight. After a couple of flight delays, we arrived in Mahajanga Friday evening. Our duffel bags had arrived a couple of days before, so we all got settled into our dorm rooms. Saturday was spent getting settled in, getting the kitchen organized and food purchased and practicing our presentation and Samuel M. sharing in evening devotions. aOn Sunday the team visited a local church and did a presentation before arriving "home" for a dinner of Kraft Mac and Cheese. The rest of the day was spent reviewing verses, enjoying some time outside, dinner and evening devotions where Selah T. shared. This morning the team started our work project by moving a pile of lumber, blocks and grave to our work site. This afternoon we had the privilege of working with several of the students. As I writing this report, I hear the chatter and laughter of both the Malagasy and the team members. After work will be our Bible study and "Quiet 30" before supper.
We have a few down with minor stomach issues, so please pray for healing.
Hi. We got the opportunity to hang out with the kids at the hotel we stayed out. I am so grateful for how God plans all the little details like that. While we were playing with the kids, I felt God work through me and it made me realize how grateful we were to have the opportunity to evangelize and hang out with the kids while were were staying at the hotel. -Sydney T.
The TMI experience has been personally amazing . I love the Boot Camp and the worship time was great. I felt like this trip has helped me draw closer to God in multiple ways. Samuel B.
Madagascar has been amazing so far. The people on the TMI base all come to us with open arms and hearts. I am so glad that I came. God is doing so much of His work around me. We are at our worksite at the moment and I am excited to continue doing God's work in Madagascar. -Brooks S.
