Caleb and Karly Holschen

Caleb (from Spokane, Washington) and Karly (from Katy, Texas) were married on November 18, 2023. They met while co-leading the 2021 Honduras Boat team. After the team, God moved in their lives and worked it out so they could form a romantic relationship together. The following January, Karly moved to Florida to be closer to Caleb, who was a student at Teen Missions Sojourner School of Ministry. After finishing his internship with Sojourner in August of 2023, Caleb joined Teen Missions as a full-time staff member. Following their marriage in 2023, Karly joined Caleb on staff. On February 1, 2025, they welcomed their daughter, Esther.

Caleb went on his first Teen Missions team in 2018 to Taiwan and fell in love with the ministry. Following his team to Canada in 2019, God touched his heart to join Sojourner School of Ministry. He joined the school in the fall of 2020 and did his internship in Florida and Australia following his graduation in the summer of 2022. He currently serves in the IT department and works mostly on web development.

Karly went on her first Teen Missions team to Canada in 2010 as a preteen. The following years she went to Israel in 2011 and Italy in 2012. After a nine year hiatus, she came back to Teen Missions to lead the Honduras Boat team in 2021. After meeting Caleb on this team and agreeing to marry him in March of 2023, Karly felt God’s call to join her now-husband on staff with Teen Missions. She currently stays home to take care of Esther, and spends some time working on the Tough Gator 5K Mud Run.

In their spare time, Caleb enjoys fishing and playing the drums for his church; and Karly enjoys reading, running, and writing. Esther currently likes to listen to music, play with her feet, and eat.
