Emma Reynolds Newsletter (Winter 2023)

Hi Friends and Family, 

I hope you guys are doing well, and that 2023 has had a good start for you! 

I’m Engaged! 

Wow, so much can change in such a short time! Joel and I got engaged in November. We’re so excited about how God has led us to be together and serve together. We will be getting married in April (so excited), and he will be joining staff with me.

For the last seven years, Joel has owned his own lawn-care business. However, even before we started dating, Joel felt that God was leading him to sell the business. After a lot of praying and discussion, we decided to be on staff at Teen Missions together. 

He will be working in the Teen Missions Maintenance Department, doing lawn care as well as working on vehicles and other handyman jobs. We’re so excited to start this next chapter. 

General work stuff:

The Video Department is still going well. I have two students working under me and they are doing a great job. I’m excited for all they’re getting done. 

I’ve been working hard to learn about marketing, particularly Google Ads. They have been somewhat challenging, but the Lord has helped me along the way. As our marketing and promotions for teams slows down, we have started promoting our annual Mud Run. To keep up on our videos and promotions, you can follow us on Facebook and Instagram. 

Podcast:

Around three months ago we decided to start up some podcasts. We have one for girls, called “Wholly Devoted”, and one for boys called “Firmly Grounded”’. I feel incredibly blessed to be one of the hosts of the podcast for teen girls. Our goal is to disciple and encourage young girls to pursue Christ. A new episode comes out every week, covering different valuable and vulnerable topics. 

What’s next? 

Looking ahead, Joel and I have a lot to get done. Besides getting married, and Joel moving, we have to get ready for our team. Teen Missions has asked us to go to Brazil this summer. We’re looking forward to discipling teens this summer and helping a local church build an extension to their growing church. 

Praise: 

Praise the Lord for all the team members and leaders registered to go on a mission trip. Praise the Lord for his provision!

Please pray for Joel and me in this busy time.

Please pray for us as we raise the needed support for a couple.

Please pray that we would be faithful in our walk with the Lord.
