Fifa & Jessica Rakotovao Newsletter (Winter 2025)

Hello Family and Friends,

We are excited to greet you all in the Name of our precious Lord and Savior! 

We have been back in the U.S.A. since December, and we are loving every bit of it! We have been up in northern Idaho and over in Oregon and now we’re staying in southern Idaho. We have some good plans of spending time with family and friends, as well as doing some paperwork and enjoying time as a family and attending a marriage seminar. Then we’ll travel to Colorado for a short time before heading on to Teen Missions in Florida for First Step (staff orientation) and debrief. We fly back to Madagascar at the end of March.

Phoebe is growing well! She is a big independent girl! She has learned to go to the bathroom. She has learned her numbers 1-12 and is working on her alphabet. She is good at recognizing shapes and colors. Phoebe is full of life and starts her days off running and ends it sleeping soundly! Her favorite part of the day is when she gets to read books with her Mama. 

Marianah is a chunky girl! She is super calm, cool and intelligent. She loves to eat food; whatever we are having she must have too! She also loves to dance to music! It fills our hearts with love when we see her light up and start dancing to different songs! She is also starting to walk with a walker, on the verge of full-out walking! It’s so exciting to see her accomplish these milestones in just 10 months!

God has been teaching us to be patient and wise in our decision-making, including interacting and communicating with godly people who can listen and advise us. They can give us the insight and reasoning that we need. We are so grateful for each one that has built us up and continues to build us up! God has proved to us that we came at a good time because we were able to mend and build up important relationships. God has been also showing Jessica ways to put Him first and also ways to improve her social skills. God has also inspired me to put more value on my wife for how much she has given up for me and how she takes care of me and our family. So I’ve been challenged to become closer to her and her family, as well as growing in my relationship with our children, Phoebe and Marianah.

Thank you all so much for loving us, supporting us in prayer and finance and also taking care of us in the ministry of our Lord! We are so thankful, grateful and blessed to have you all in our lives!
